Glasgow Theatres

Glasgow has a wonderful range of theatres, all within close proximity to the Sandyford Hotel.

The best known theatre in Glasgow is the Kings Theatre, and this was used for the opening ceremony when Glasgow was awarded the European City of Culture in 1990. And the Theatre Royal is well known as the home of both Scottish Opera and Scottish Ballet.

However, Glasgow has many other quality theatres, including the Pavilion Theatre, the Tron Theatre, and The Arches.

And on the South side of the City, there are two other popular theatres, the Citizens Theatre and the Tramway Theatre.
