Glasgow Tourist Travel Information

Glasgow is very well served for public transport links. Glasgow International Airport is only 20 minutes away from the City Centre by car or taxi. And Glasgow Prestwick Airport is a little further away to the south, but with very good road connections straight into the heart of Glasgow, near the Sandyford Hotel.

A regular bus service connects the airport to the two main train stations, Glasgow Central Train Station and Glasgow Queen Street Station, as well as the main bus station, Buchanan Bus Station Glasgow. All three of these city centre stations provide cheap travel within and around Glasgow.

The Sandyford Hotel Glasgow is conveniently located a short walk from all three main stations, and is close to the motorway and bus stops for connections to the airports.

If you are looking for the best way to get round a lot of Glasgow's attractions in a short space of time, you should consider the Glasgow Sightseeing Bus Tour, an excellent guided tour which stops just outside the Sandyford Hotel.

Glasgow is also well-served by it's famous 'Clockwork Orange' underground train network, offering regular cheap travel through the City Centre, West End and South Side of the city.
