The Glasgow Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is Glasgow's Centre for Scottish architecture and design, and offers a rotating programme of educational events, exhibitions and displays, and seasonal initiatives. Around 15 to 20 exhibitions are held annually, in the field of architecture and design.

The Lighthouse occupies six floors of a converted city centre Charles Rennie Mackintosh building, and was opened by the Queen in 1999. The building has already seen well over a million visitors since opening.
