The Lighthouse is Glasgow's Centre for Scottish architecture and design, and
offers a rotating programme of educational events, exhibitions and displays,
and seasonal initiatives. Around 15 to 20 exhibitions are held annually, in the
field of architecture and design.
The Lighthouse occupies six floors of a converted city centre Charles
Rennie Mackintosh building, and was opened by the Queen in 1999. The building
has already seen well over a million visitors since opening.

Spacious and cozy large beds. Breakfast was fantastic, better than I've had at 5 star hotels. Staff very helpful & friendly. There is also free use of computer and coffee/tea facilities at reception, as well as a library of information leaflets about area.
