King Tut's Wah Wah Hut is one of Glasgow's best known live music venues, and
was famously the place where Oasis were spotted in 1993 by Alan McGee, the boss
of Creation Records.
King Tut's is an intimate venue that offers a mix of established talent
and up-and-coming unsigned artists. Other famous acts to have performed there
include Radiohead and Travis.
Also, King Tut's supports the annual "T in the Park" festival, and operate the King Tut's Tent - which has hosted acts such as K T Tunstall and Ian Brown.
Spacious and cozy large beds. Breakfast was fantastic, better than I've had at 5 star hotels. Staff very helpful & friendly. There is also free use of computer and coffee/tea facilities at reception, as well as a library of information leaflets about area.
