The Glasgow Barrowlands is an internationally regarded concert venue, and has
played host to a wide range of bands including R.E.M., Oasis, U2, Blur,
Bob Dylan, Björk, David Bowie, Blondie, Garbage, Sheryl Crow, Marilyn Manson,
and Elvis Costello.
In recent years, groups such as My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy have played there. The Barrowlands has also proven to be a popular venue with successful homegrown talent, including Franz Ferdinand, Orange Juice, Aztec Camera, Lloyd Cole and the Commotions, Deacon Blue, Del Amitri, Teenage Fanclub, Simple Minds, Big Country, and The Jesus and Mary Chain.

Spacious and cozy large beds. Breakfast was fantastic, better than I've had at 5 star hotels. Staff very helpful & friendly. There is also free use of computer and coffee/tea facilities at reception, as well as a library of information leaflets about area.
